Anyone who lives in Columbus should know about Comfest, it’s an annual community festival to promote well….. community. in a peaceful fashion. What it really is the whole town gets together eats bad food, drinks warm beer, listens to local music and looks for the all the boobies (lots of shirtless women). Ahh the boobies, not sure why women in Columbus feel compelled to walk around without shirts on and their breasts painted, but who am I to judge?!
These are all the reasons I loved Comfest this year (in no particular order)
For some reason my age was in question all evening. Meaning no one could believe I am the age that I am. Which I’m taking as a total compliment to my genes, not the fact I had a huge zit on my chin. You know the kind that’s under your skin and when you try to pop it, it ends up being a scab. Then when you try to cover it up with make up it looks like a beigey-white scab. This is something that I’ve come to know over time, when I was 14, 25 and apparently 32. I will never learn.
Someone thought I was 25 (woo woo!)
Another guy didn’t believe me that I was 32 ( boo yah!)
I was called a MILF after they found out I had a baby or I guess child now.
In a booty bar, I had a guy come up to me randomly and lick my neck, then ask me my name. We’re going out next week. JUST KIDDING, the lick happened, but there is no way I would go that route again. I am not 21.
Drank like I was in college only with a little bit more responsibility (or maybe my tolerance went up)
Hung out with one of my dearest friends and during our imbibing we figured out we’ve known each other for almost 15 years!!!
Walking down the street eating pizza and talking complete shit.

Argh, I do the same thing with zits. I’m practically a year older than year, and I still don’t know better.

I was just recently told, if you have a zit, the kind under the skin put Neosporin on it. Apparently, there’s some sort of bacteria component to the zit. Yeah, that’s hot.
