Dear Friends….

Each year I make a goal for myself to focus on, last year was career & this year is relationships (friends, family, etc.). Therefore I’ve been evaluating the friendships I have in my life right now. Not in the “should I keep them or not” type evaluating, but in the way of how [...]

She’ll be an effective CEO

Originally uploaded by mehannon
If you ever watch Maggie initiate a play session with a child at the playground the interaction can be seen as a sleek sales call/visit with great results.
She begins with complimenting the potential playmate. “I like your shirt, who got it for you?”

What I’ve learned in the past two weeks

1.) I will NEVER chaperon a bunch of three-year olds to the zoo again. NEVAH!!!
2.) Not to wash all your floors PRIOR to having a playdate. Pointless.
3.) Two Midol will make very sick for many days
4.) Surprisingly when feeling completely nauseous an Arby’s sandwich will not make me puke, much to my surprise [...]

Swimming head of lovely visions

Perfection touches many forms, the hands and feet of newborn babies, sweet first kisses that curl your toes, a dress that fits just right and the band that sounds even better live then they do on their records. I’m stillĀ  giddy about seeing Radiohead last night and crossing it off my 100 things to [...]
